Ferrari's Famous Firsts - An Unexpected Experience

After almost 3 years of not having left Greece for a vacation abroad, Easter 2023 was the time to choose something interesting to chase after again.

In January of this year, a spontaneous trip to central Italy was suggested by someone truly special to me, and to a country which, even though is a neighbour to Greece, I had never visited yet.

I wanted it to happen at the right time, and do the right things when I did - And so, as when in Modena, visited the Enzo Ferrari Museum.

From what I remember, naming the museum after Enzo Ferrari is what gave the inspiration to make it the museum of "Ferrari firsts" in commemoration to him and his father.

You enter the vast and serene "Game Changers" section of the museum first.

As you can see in the photos, the museum was not only filled with the first FUV, the first AWD Ferrari (1987 408 4RM) which seem to face each other in a nod, but you also see the Schumacher-tested Ferrari FXX, a (Ferrari's first...) track-only weapon, obviously based on the F60 - A car I always wanted to see up close. (You can see me smiling). I would love to tell you what the rest of the cars were special for other than being beautiful Ferraris, but that would take too long I don't remember anything.

Walking out from the quiet arena, you reach the bright souvenir shop - You probably don't care, but I managed to buy the last "Grand Tour Grey" watch they had that day which caught my eye before anything else - and is now my only watch that I own - and with a very Italian discount of 10% because "it is the correct-ah thing to do-ah" as I was told by the beautiful Italian cashier.

And then finally you get to the second part of the museum, the "Motori" room. This is where Enzo Ferrari's father, Alfredo Ferrari, had his motor-building workshop. where each original Ferrari's heart was made over 100 years ago.

What an awesome trip to take. I highly recommend you visit with good company, it was an unexpected but amazing experience. Even better if you also visit the Pagani Museum as well (Photos Here).
