Arcade - But Real Life.
The R35 GT-R is already older than some of you. That's a mind-blow to some of us who still remember the domination in reviews when the new Godzilla came out.
2007 was a year where Porsche was officially back on track competing stronger than ever in the supercar game in the days of PDK (famously known as Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe, of course), good looks, and overall ahead of the VFM game. The 997 Turbo S was one of the best all-rounder supercars you could have bought, and for only around 165,000 Euros, or 205,000 for one of the fastest convertibles at the time. The Audi R8 came out too, as the budget supercar, with the lovely and brutal 4.2 FSI V8 in the low 400hp zone, with excellent handling, and a pretty fun and capable Quattro AWD system.
But the car that brought a new meaning to "budget supercar", as well as "all-rounder" was the track-worthy Nissan.
The supercar killer did everything, and is still, until today, one of the most "affordable" ways to have a single car that can keep up with the majority of modern-day weapons.
It got even better in 2015 with the Nissan Motorsports version - The NisMo - A sperate company, sure, but Nissan's subsidiary, with 100% access to the GT-R.
